First-Then

One of the most simple forms of visual support, the First-Then board allows a student to clearly see the task they are currently undertaking and that which immediately proceeds it. The simple, uncluttered layout is great for students of all ages, particularly children. This resource contains a laminated first-then board and an accompanying set of 20 common school and home based activities with associated Boardmaker symbols. The board and activities come with velcro attached, making them easy to remove and change as necessary. An activity card is also included with tips for the successful use of First-Then boards both at home and at school.
